The vast majority of customers that come into Diamonds for Diancie leave with smiles on their faces and jewelry in tow. This is because of the upbeat feel surrounding its main sales representative, Ula. This (admittedly) loud Carbink lives to see smiles on her customers' faces and will do whatever it takes to make that happen. She's incredibly passionate about her gems, and it shows in her in-your-face sales pitches. It doesn't matter if her customer is a mineral expert or some guy trying to get his significant other an engagement ring, Ula will tell them everything she knows about what they're searching for, sometimes in excess. It's not that she recites memorize facts, it's that she's so interested in minerals that she goes out of her way to learn all that she can about her own jewels and shares that absolutely exciting knowledge with everyone in hearing distance. She especially loves talking about the precise cuts, as she examines those most for quality control. When she's clear headed, no detail gets passed her! Oftentimes, the patron she's taking care of would come from an upbringing unfamiliar to her own. That's not a problem! Ula makes it her goal to discover who she's talking to before making assumptions. This goal is easier said than done though, as she either prys far too much into some stranger's personal life, or  makes rash decisions with time in her better interest (she always seems to be running out for some reason). This has lead to some rather unfortunate spills in her time, ranging from jewelry trays to coffee on someone else's lap to entire bookshelfs for some poor librarian to clean up. Her appologies fly around in her constantly chipper tone, though occassionally she'd blame it on some bad juju someone's clearly throwing her way. It's not too far-fetched to assume that a ghost is playing tricks on her again, right?

♦History:

Ula remembers starting her concious life as an orphan, abandoned by her parents and left in a Sisyphus orphanage. Not many new faces came around in her young life, not even the ones of the people that forgot about her and left her isolated and scared. Sometimes she'd wonder if they'd ever come back for her, but that thought became less and less interesting with time. Her first decade was soon reaching and all she really wanted was to be in a family that actually cared about her. Life didn't pick up for her until one of the few days she'd see a fresh face. That day, it was of a kind Sableye who introduced himself as Edmund Bunker.

The Sableye spent a few weeks in Sisyphus, having spent another week or so prior just travelling there, and took a shine to Ula's own radiance (to be fair, she was trying very desperately to be adopted at that point and wasn't going to let this smiley gentleman get away). By the time he was ready to leave, the adoption papers had been processed and she was his own pride and joy. The journey to his home--their home--left a lot of time for more conversation. It was through this trip that she discovered that they shared a love for minerals. She also learned that she wasn't the only 'gem' to be adopted into Edmund's family. He admitted that he loved minerals so much that he decided to start a family full of mineral Gijinka, and although such a 'rich' family would look fantastic for his jewelry company's reputation, he stated he would never adopt any random mineral child if he didn't care about them. Though apprehensive to his claims at first, Ula soon found it hard to believe that she wasn't loved. Even her new siblings welcomed her with open arms into the Bunker clan, as it were.

Despite being whisked away into the lap of luxury, she wasn't going to let her newfound privilage spoil her. She looked further into her father's business and found it not only profitable in monotization, but also in satisfaction after much anticipation. She could relate to the latter category, having waited far longer than anyone should to have a family shower her with affection. And thus Ula's goal in life emerged; she was going to make a successful jewelry business following her father's model and make every customer she came across leave her presence more satisfied than when they entered. Some of her siblings joined in her business creation, knowing full well that these things just can't be dealt with alone.

[ Edmund Bunker ] - His jagged smile is offputting to some, but those closest to him know that its sincerity is unmatched. Ula is his pride and joy (along with her brothers and sisters, of course). He's especially fond of her energy and her drive to become a better business person. She looks up to him as a source of both guidance and affection. She's possibly making up for lost time whenever she's in his presence, as she can be a bit childish in her mannerisms around him.

• Though she loves jewels, the ones she wears in her regular outfit are actually fake. Unless she's treating herself to a nice night out, she'd rather let her patrons have the best precious stones.

• Fighting is not her forte, but that wont stop her from defending someone physically if it gets to that point.
• Her feet are so tiny. Like, probably size 4.5. So very tiny.
